Meet Our Board
Manas Athanikar
Manas Athanikar is the Executive Vice President of Batavia Container Inc. and American Boxboard, a custom corrugated manufacturing company. Manas spent over 15 years in banking, primarily in commercial banking and leverage finance having previously worked as a Vice President at LaSalle Bank/Bank of America from 2002 to 2008, a Managing Director at Private Bank/CIBC from 2008 to 2013 and a Senior Vice President at PNC Bank’s Corporate and Institutional Finance Group from 2013 to 2017. He completed mergers and acquisitions of both private and publicly traded companies in general commercial businesses and developed a specialty in the packaging sector. Additionally at PNC, he helped start the ESOP finance and advisory practice. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission. He attended the University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree and University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, for his MBA, with concentrations in Accounting, Financing, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy Management.
